Stand Firm for the Lord

II Chron 18:13 But Micaiah said, “As the LORD lives, what my God says, that I will speak.

In  II Chronicles 18th chapter, King Jehoshaphat gathered 400 prophets to confirm that he can go for battle against Ramoth-gilead. All the 400 prophets say he can go and god will give Ramoth in the King's Hand. (v5).

But in verse 13, we can see Micaiah was not ready to prophesies in favour of king, he firmly said, he will speak only what god says to him.
He know prophecy against king will result in punishment. But he prophesies different from other 400 prophets and what he said was given by the god in his vision. He was not scared and hence he didn't gave false prophecy.

In the verses 17 -20 we can see, he explains everything that shown to him by God. As a result in v25, 26 Micaiah was put into the Jail. The chapter didnt gave further information about him. But sure he will be blessed.

Think How many of us are ready to stand in God's will and against the world?

In present world, many of them are ready to do anything for his own benefit. It is sad to say, that christian people get converted to other religion for certain benefits.

Even the small things that we do in our workplace will reflect god. If you are not ready to tell lie at any cost, then sure god will be glorified. So we have to stand firmly on the decisions.

Hence in this New Year,  through prayers, understand god's will, make decisions and get help from god to bring glory to him. Amen.
